We are delighted to share that Professor Carmen Torres Sanchez and Mudassar Khalil from the RIED team at Loughborough University recently took part and presented at the June 2024 “NAFEMS UK Conference – Engineering Solutions for Tomorrow’s Challenges”, in Staffordshire. UK. NAFEMS is the only dedicated International Association for Engineering Modelling, Analysis and Simulation Community which focusses on the practical application of numerical engineering simulation techniques.
Our Professor Carmen Torres-Sanchez gave a plenary keynote speech in the opening session on “A Journey from Physics-based Simulations to Data-driven Approaches to Help Bones Heal Faster”.
Mudassar Khalil presented a paper entitled “Simulation and physical validation of triply periodic minimal surfaces-based scaffolds for biomedical applications”, authored by Khalil M, Burton M, Conway PP, Torres-Sanchez C. on 12th June 2024, in track C6 Biomedical.
