We are delighted to share that on Wednesday 22nd January, Caitlin Sands and Michael Murphy, two of our RIED QUB PhD Students won 1st and 2nd prize in the Sir Bernard Crossland Poster and Presentation Competitions in the QUB School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.
Caitlin and Michael and will go forward to represent the school in the poster section of the all-Ireland Sir Bernard Crossland Symposium in September 2025!
Caitlin was also one of three Presentation Final Qualifiers and will also now compete in the final at the Innovation in Action: An Engineering Research Showcase, part of the Northern Ireland Science Festival, on 13th February 2025.
