The final face to face RIED Team Review Meeting brought together members of the team to celebrate and reflect on five and a half years of research collaboration, innovation, and achievement. Throughout the event, team members shared their experiences, insights, and reflections on the RIED programme, highlighting key areas of research, milestones, successes, and the lasting impact of the work undertaken. The meeting also acknowledged the dedication of everyone involved and the valuable relationships built throughout the programme.

The event commenced with a lunch, giving attendees the chance to catch up with colleagues. Mark and Andrew then provided an engaging overview of the research programme, reflecting on its progress, key achievements, and lasting impact. Throughout the afternoon, Thread Leads and team members participated in a range of interactive activities, sharing their personal reflections, insights, and experiences from their involvement in the programme over the past five and a half years.

To celebrate the achievements of the programme and the contributions of everyone involved, the team came together for an evening social dinner at Nu Delhi Restaurant. The relaxed setting provided an opportunity for colleagues and collaborators to connect and reflect on their shared experiences, and celebrate the successes of the past five and a half years. The following day, a number of attendees reconvened at Queen’s University Belfast for an informal session, where discussions continued around opportunities for journal publications.

As we approach the end of the programme, the RIED Final Team Meeting provided a fitting opportunity to celebrate the programme’s impact, reflect on lessons learned, and recognise the dedication and contributions of all those involved. While the programme itself is drawing to a close, the relationships, knowledge, and achievements developed through RIED will continue to influence future research, collaboration, and innovation for years to come.
