We are delighted to announce that Charalampos (Babis) Peteinarelis, a PhD Student working on RIED at the University of York, won 3rd prize out of 50 entrants at the School of Physics, Engineering and Technology PhD Conference. Over two days, 50 presentations were given by the first year PhD students using a 3 minute thesis (3MT) format. The event was attended by staff, students and university partners.
Babis who works in the Institute for Safe Autonomy gave his talk on ‘Darwin and the Machine’ which aligns brilliantly with the RIED ethos and vision.
