Yinghao earned his PhD from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 2025. His research focused on hybrid-driven predictive modelling methods and applications that integrate mechanisms and data, particularly in scenarios where the underlying mechanisms are incomplete. He has been dedicated to developing and applying novel mechanism-infused AI models for complex manufacturing scenarios, including the monitoring and modelling of CNC machining processes and the prediction and control of cure-induced deformation for composites.
In November 2024, Yinghao joined Queen’s University Belfast as a Research Fellow with the RIED team, where he explores the deep integration of large language models into engineering design processes.
