Dearbhla Magill joined the RIED project in July 2021 as the PA for the project. Dearbhla has worked in Queens University since 2019 in the School of Medicine and Dentistry as a Postgraduate administrator before the exciting opportunity of the RIED project.
Dearbhla is a graduate of St Marys University, a part of Queens University, in Business Studies and has had a varied career including managing all dormant accounts for the south of Ireland, to working in Libraries NI as a library assistant to the public, to managing the purchasing and delivery of stock to branches.
Dearbhla currently splits her position between PA for the RIED project, and administrator for the School of Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Education team.
After a successful two and a half years on the RIED Programme, in December 2023, Dearbhla was promoted to the role of Personal Assistant to the Pro-Vice Chancellor, Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences within Queens University, Belfast.
