“AI Powered Decision Making: Turning Data into Insights” presentation (March 2025)

Prof Andy Tyrrell gave an invited talk at the “AI for Professionals” event held at Jesus College, Cambridge on Monday 31st March and Tuesday 1st April, organised by the Netherlands British Chamber of Commerce (NBCC). The event was aimed at professionals eager to unlock the potential that AI can bring to their business. A number of talks and panel sessions investigated AI opportunities while also considering  how to tackle the challenges and transformations that are currently reshaping the business technology landscape. Andy’s talk, entitled ‘AI-Powered Decision Making: Turning Data into Insights’ discussed some for the work being undertaken within the RIED project and in particular how EvoDevo can be used in concert with AI to create innovation in engineering design.
